How to cancel
You can cancel your registration at any time, without giving reasons: from "Manage my submission" (presenting authors), from your registration link (participants without a paper), or by e-mail to econburgh@gmail.com. We confirm every request by e-mail.
How much is refunded
The refund depends on the date your request reaches us:
| Cancellation received | Refund |
|---|---|
| by 31 March 2027 | 90% of the fee paid |
| by 31 May 2027 | 70% of the fee paid |
| by 15 July 2027 | 50% of the fee paid |
| by 31 July 2027 | 25% of the fee paid |
| after 31 July 2027 | no refund |
The percentage applies to the registration fee and extras paid. Registrations not yet paid can be cancelled free of charge.
How and when you are refunded
Refunds are paid within 14 days of our approval, by the method you paid with: card payments go back to the same card (your bank may need a few more days to show it), bank transfers to the bank account you give us. We do not charge a fee for refunds.
Replacing a participant
Instead of cancelling, you can transfer your registration to a colleague free of charge until the conference starts; for accepted papers the new participant must be a co-author. Write to us with the new participant's details.
If we cancel or postpone
If the conference is cancelled or postponed by the organizer, you may choose a full refund of everything you paid or, when offered, a transfer to the new dates. If it moves online and you do not wish to attend online, you are refunded in full. We cannot refund travel or accommodation costs, so we recommend flexible bookings or travel insurance.
Visas
Applying for a visa in time is the participant's responsibility, and invitation letters do not guarantee a visa. Cancellations after a visa refusal follow the table above.
